Life is a learning experience. But we burden ourselves unnecessarily by holding on to stuff that’s poisoning our spiritual reality long after life's learning experiences. We allow our minds to continually entertain thoughts of perceived wrongs we did or wrongs done to us, reenacting them over and over and over again, with the accompanying negative emotional impact. We’ve heard for ages now that “feeling” and “emotion” are primary components in the engine of manifestation. And as we continue to replay negative thoughts and feelings, we are re-manifesting the experiences; we’re dragging along unwanted baggage. It is so tiresome…
I offer this spiritual exercise: Sit quietly in a comfortable chair. With eyes closed, take deep breaths and exhale as much as possible, relaxing the body with each exhale, until you feel yourself sinking into the chair. On the screen of your inner vision there appears an enormous, intensely bright, electric blue Tornado. It is God’s Consuming Flame, there to consume all instances of your mis-qualified energy, there to relieve you of your burdens. Now, with love and gratitude for this blessing, take every negative thing, every negative experience or idea, out of your past and your present, anything that distracts you from your happiness, your spirituality, and toss it into that Vortex of Consuming Flame and proclaim to your burdens: "I AM committing you back into the ether from whence you came, to be transmuted into the highest form of Light, God’s own pure love to bless us all." Rejoice as the Consuming Flame dissipates, taking your burdens with it.
Now that you have all this new space, put something in it that matters to you, something that works for you spiritually: Imagine that place in the highest of Heavens, where the air is the Pure Breath of God; and in that place, sit quietly a while longer, inhaling deeply there, and exhaling all that Pure Air here into your world. Inhale there; exhale here, building energy, love, and pouring God’s Favor into your world.

Love and Light.
I’d like to respond to a comment I received on my previous post, “On Spiritual Beingness.” From the comment: “For me, the key is to find ways to connect the various ideas of the world's historic religious traditions and show how they compliment and strengthen each other and how they are the root of all the "new age" spirituality. None of us should have to reinvent the wheel. People have lived suffered and died for millenniums so it is silly to throw away all that experience and assume we can do it better from scratch...”
My statements on religion is not meant to imply that I am throwing away my previous experiences with religion. Indeed, I am enriched by them. I am this moment the sum, the total of all that I have ever been, which includes some knowledge and/or experience in numerous religions. But religion is not meant to be an “end”, but a means to further spiritual realization. There is no denying the continual expansion, continual evolution of consciousness. How far can a static religion take an evolving consciousness? I believe that all religions serve their purpose in their time; but in time religions must evolve to continually serve the needs of an evolving consciousness. But, more to the point of my previous post, there is much about me that religions do not address, my experiences in the inner worlds that religions do not explain. This is why I go further, for understanding.
And this is what I’ve found: “I AM a soul that God has made, as are all souls; I AM Divine Will expressed in and through the soul that I AM, as are all souls; I AM Divine Love manifest, as are all souls; and I enjoy the infinite Love and Blessings of the Creator, no more and no less than any other soul.”
