It’s been rather difficult reading FB posts since the election. A lot of them I’ve had to delete from my site; I even had to unfollow some because I concluded that they were simply creating more negative energy. Do I have a right to do this? Yes; it’s my site (lol). No; really, it has to do with energy and perception.
Let me say this about energy (my opinion, of course): Everything that is of any consequence to us, positive or negative, needs energy to survive. We feed our hopes and dreams, our goals and aspirations with energy; the physical effort we put into it, is really only a small, though necessary part. Spiritual, mental and emotional energy, used in either a positive or negative capacity, is what powers the physical to act, to achieve. So, it’s simple; If we have unwanted habits, ideas or even people taking up residence in our space, we can starve them out by taking our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energy away from them. The unwanted habits and ideas die of neglect, dry up and crumble, no different than a plant without water. And hopefully, the unwanted people just go away.
Closely aligned with the aforementioned energy analogy is “perception.” I touched on this in a recent post; but it bears repeating here: You are a creation and a Creator. You create your own reality, whether through your own creative ability or acceptance of someone else's creative ability. But you, being a single event in all of creation, are here for the single purpose of creating a reality that is uniquely you. Hence The Creator is expressed through you in a way unique to all others. Reality is not "out there". “Out there” is only a perception. The eyes transmit to the brain a projection of an image; the brain interprets the input and, “based on available data” tells you what "it concludes" that image is. All of the sensory organs work this way, sending signals to the brain, which interprets and concludes (based on available data) the significance of the input. We can accept the brain's interpretation (unconscious people do this automatically); but the conscious soul can choose to see things differently.
When a racist demeans a person of another race, it may seem natural and acceptable for the person of another race to be offended and become upset. It is not. It is only the brain's conclusion, “based upon available data”, that one should be offended and become upset. But the "conscious soul", the awakened soul gives the brain only analytical power; all directive or executive power over perception is retained in the consciousness of the awakened soul, the final authority, the only authority. And in this case, an “awakened” person of another race might choose not see a racist, not even a person of a different race; he or she might simply choose to see another soul that still has lessons to learn.
Some say that the world needs more Light and love to counter the darkness and hate. I say that what the world really needs is “more awakened souls”, those who consciously bring Love and light into the world, and consciously “starve out” darkness and hate. Such a soul is powerful beyond measure...
Love and Light.
